If I had a son... I would tell him to find a best friend and ask her to be his mate. I would tell him that loving your best friend is easy but maintaining it can be rough. Your thoughts and wants are very important but your desire for her and her well being will be paramount. I would tell him to ALWAYS put God first, even in front of your best friend. Because son, you won't know how to love her or even love at all until you know the love of Jesus. And same for her. If she doesn't know Jesus then don't date her until she does. Patience is important when dealing with love. Son you will find your thoughts will go to her at all times. You will know her great attributes and her bad ones.
